myBlock: A Patient-Centered Ambulatory Regional Anesthesia Program

Unmet Need:

With a focus on shortening hospital stays and creating greater patient satisfaction, hospitals have begun to build out their outpatient surgery programs. With that focus, hospitals have emphasized regional anesthesia as a means to better pain control, less nausea and vomiting and decreased length of stay in the hospital. Such surgery centers are now focusing on the best ways to build out their anesthesia programs.

 

Technical Overview:

The myBlock regional anesthesia program, delivers to surgery centers an all-inclusive program that is patient-centered, safe and efficient. Included within the program are protocols, training instructions for caregivers, education materials and an open path for communication between the patient and anesthesia team.
