RMap Linked Data Graph Tool

Unmet Need
The publishing industry has expanded over the last few years with the increased digital presence.  With that, there has been an increase need to identify tools that can help navigate use of citations, the number of articles read, and the number of articles that may be accessed.

Application
JHU researchers constructed a tool to link together objects (articles, data, software) in a set of graphs that support citations, navigation and discovery.  The tool includes a protocol for aggregating objects and a set of APIs for creating, querying and updating such objects as well. 

Stage of Development

The RMap tool is currently in prototype form and being used within the JHU Library system.
