The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) Application

Technology Overview
The Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) Application is a software solution to support teachers in administering direct performance and selected response assessment items to Kindergarten and Pre-K students as part of the K-Ready project in Maryland and Ohio. Initially developed for delivery on iOS 6+ tablet devices, the application will also be ported to Android and desktop PC/Mac platforms. The application requires authentication with an external cloud-hosted database, as well as continuous connection to the Internet in order for the assessment results to be recorded in the K-Ready database for instructional and reporting purposes.
