Technical Details:
Blood and serum samples from patients with corroborated HGE or HME. Blood samples contain antigens and nucleic acids of Anaplasma (Ehrlichia) phagocytophila (HGE) or Ehrlichia chaffeensis (HME); serum contains antibodies to A. phagocytophila (HGE) or Ehrlichia chaffeensis (HME).
Looking for Partners:
May be used to validate molecular or serologic assays for HGE or HME.
