Technical Details:
We have developed BACE1 knockout cells to further facilitate our understanding of physiological consequences of the lack of BACE1 in cells. We have established BACE1 knockout immortalized cell lines by transforming the primary fibroblasts derived from BACE1 knockout mice.
Looking for Partners:
These cell lines will be useful towards the development of BACE1 inhibitors to ameliorate amyloidosis in Alzheimer's disease.
