C11182: Sema3F conditional mutant mouse model for loss of the Sema3F secreted semaphorin protein.

Technical Details:

Semaphorin-3F (SEMA3F) belongs to a family of proteins involved in signaling. SEMA3F has been implicated in establishment of neuronal connectivity, neuronal regeneration post injury as well as other non-neuronal processes. Mouse models can make essential contributions to our understanding of the cause, prevention and treatment of diseases. The present invention is a Sema3F conditional mutant mouse model for loss of the Sema3F secreted semaphorin protein and may be used as a tool to enhance our knowledge regarding the role of SEMA3F in neuronal and non-neuronal processes.
