TITLE

Kir2.1 (mouse) Stable Cell Line

CASE NUMBER

C12936

ABSTRACT

The Kir2.1 channel (KCNJ2) is a member of inwardly-rectifying potassium channels, expressing two transmembrane-spanning segments, flanking a conserved pore region. Inward rectifier K+ channels pass prominent inward currents, and mediate the cardiac inwardly-rectifying potassium current (IK1), while outward currents are largely blocked.

FEATURES

Kir2.1 expression is stable and efficient in this cell line.

Cell line is established by standard protocols using pcDNA3.1. HEK 293 stable cell lines expressing Kir2.1

STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT
