Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (alpha) Expression Vectors

Case ID:
C13017
ABSTRACT
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University have developed a set of plasmids that express recombinant P110a/niP85a heterodimer providing the means to purify large quantities of a fusion protein containing the full length phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase alpha (P110α) in complex with residues 322-600 of the regulatory subunit p85.  The fusion protein has an amino-terminal tag for purification.

FEATURES
The recombinant heterodimers expressed using these plasmids can be used in in vitro assays and structural biology experiments. These plasmids provide an active and stable PI3Ka enzyme wild type or PI3Ka H1047R mutant.
