A newly invented DNA alignment algorithm combined and fine tuned with recent advances in GPU technology resulted in a 40x 50 x speed increase and better quality results. Bundled with appropriate HW+SW environment, one Compute Align appliance is expected to provide the same speed of data processing capability as the highest speed input data provider, the industry leading DNA Aligner platform, the Illumina HiSeq X 10 cluster.
