Distortion Elimination in Phase-Encoded Analog-Photonic Links using a Four-Wave Mixing Comb Source
Case ID:

Distortion minimization is a crucial goal for analog optical links as high distortion reduces the spurious free dynamic range. We have devised a method for canceling distortions by exploiting the phase relationship between lines on an optical comb generator. We have demonstrated elimination of even order distortions and third order distortion and this method has a clear path toward eliminating the fifth order distortion and beyond.
