Unmet need
An effective yet convenient method to treat esophageal disorders does not exist. For example, there is pressing need for non-invasive therapeutic options for patients with Barrett’s esophagus which progresses to low-grade dysplasia or high grade dysplasia.
Technology Overview
Johns Hopkins researchers developed devices and methods to administer treatments to the distal esophagus (for disorders such as esophageal cancer, dysplasia, achalasia and others) in an easy, patient-directed, point of care fashion.
