This computerized intervention is designed to inform patients about the risks associated with opioids, behaviors that increase the risk of overdose, and methods to respond to an overdose. On average, patients complete this intervention in 18 minutes and it has been associated preliminarily with increased knowledge in 3 domains (opioids, opioid overdose, opioid overdose response knowledge). The intervention is currently hosted in the online survey manager Qualtrics.
