ABSTRACT
Newly discovered mutations in the estrogen receptor alpha gene, ESR1, are thought to predict for resistance to certain endocrine therapies in breast cancers that express hormone receptors.
FEATURES
Johns Hopkins researchers used AAV gene targeting to introduce wild type (controls), Y537S and D538G ESR1 mutations into the human breast cancer cell line MCF-7.
