Method of Computing Low Oxygen Delivery during Cardiac Surgery on Cardiopulmonary Bypass
Case ID:
C14356
Disclosure Date:
9/7/2016
Web Published:

Technology Overview
This technology involves a novel algorithm to quantify low oxygen delivery by taking into account not only the depth of oxygen delivery below certain predefined thresholds, but also the time spent below those given thresholds. JHU researchers have preliminary data that assessing oxygen delivery in this manner is associated with release of a neurological injury biomarker.
