Unmet Need:
As personal medical information continues to be digitized, it is increasingly essential to implement safeguards for the protection of such information.
Technology Overview:
Inventors at Johns Hopkins have developed a digital survey software platform for touch-screen data entry forms with tablet devices. The system is wirelessly synchronized to a central server via encrypted Wi-Fi and data collected is temporarily stored to the local tablet device. Following complete data transfer, the information is deleted from the local device for optimal security.
Stage of Development:
In use with Tele-Dizzy service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
