C10037: K-ras Knock in Human Breast Non-tumorigenic Breast Epithelial Cells
Technical Details:
Single oncogenic point mutation in codon 12 of K-Ras was "knocked in" to the commercially available MCF-l0A cell line and two other hTERT immortalized human breast epithelial cell lines.
Looking for Partners:
The cell lines described in this invention can be used in screens for novel molecules targeting the K-Ras pathway in human cancer cells or to confirm the specificity of drugs discovered through other approaches. Such drugs can potentially be used as chemotherapeutic or chemopreventive agents
