Clinical-Grade Therapeutic Progenitors Generated from Universal Donor Tankyrase/PARP-Inhibited Pluripotent Stem Cell Banks
Unmet Need / Invention Novelty: Regenerative cell therapies with conventional, lineage-primed human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC) are limited by variable differentiation efficiency and poor in vivo functionality. There is an unmet need to establish novel methods for efficiently generating functional and transplantable therapeutic progenitors. Technical...

Vascular Progenitors Generated from Tankyrase Inhibitor-Regulated Naïve Diabetic Human iPSC Potentiate Efficient Revascularization of Ischemic Retina
Unmet NeedIn the United States, approximately 14.6 million Americans are estimated to suffer from diabetic retinopathy by the year 2050 (see CDC). Diabetic retinopathy is a debilitating condition defined by the loss of vision due to leaky blood vessels of the retina. The current standard of care includes prevention measures, pharmacological therapies,...

KA.1;KA.3 (human keratinocyte-iPSC)
Technical Details: Described are induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) generated from keratinocytes. Keratinocytes were plucked and cultured from human hair and reprogrammed using non-viral, non-integrating methods. The resulting iPSCs contain no evidence of integrated pluripotency transgenes.  Associated Publication: PLoS One. 2012;7(8):e42838.
